Yesudas Award Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam was awarded the Swaralaya Yesudas Best Singer Award, in Trivandrum Kerala. The award ceremony was held at the glittering open air Nishagandhi Auditorium and the award was presented to Kavita ji in front of a packed audience by K. Yesudas himself. This ceremony also featured performances by both artists. The audience comprised of the Who's Who of Trivandrum. Previously this award has also been given to music director AR Rahman.
