| Story | One more film featuring the successful Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit screen pair, this thriller set in the murky underworld of spurious-drug dealers, is directed by Prakash Mehra. Haria (Anil Kapoor), a simple villager is drawn into a web of intrigue when he lands a job in the city. Haria works for a firm that manufactures life-saving drugs. But the evil proprietor has a sinister hidden agenda – he markets spurious drugs, which end up killing many innocent people. Haria unknowingly stumbles upon the truth and finds himself in danger, because by now he knows too much. He also falls in love with and marries Juhi (Madhuri Dixit), the owner’s daughter. When she discovers the truth about her father’s business, she goes haywire and finally takes her own life. Haria swears revenge….. Bappi Lahiri’s music includes the popular title song, ‘Zindagi Ek Juaa’. |
