| Story | In the scorching heat of the desert sat the Darwesh and showered his blessings of Tulla and Ismail Baig hoping that his prayers would be answered giving birth to a true and immortal love. Fate followed its pre-destined course. Sohni, the sweet fragrance from the village Gujran of Punjab and Mirza Izzat Baig miles apart in Bukhara were beholden to each other long before they first met....Leaving all the comforts behind, Mirza made his journey towards HIndustan in search of his destiny. On the way he comes across Slamat-a- slave whom he freed and Slamat accompanied his savior. Then he had to fight again with thr dacoit Zara to rescue Jabru. Moments froze, leaves tingled, air whispered but...the avaricious and crooked elements of the world could not bear a divine and pure love. Sohni was caged in boundaries of restrictions and Mirza who became Mahiwal in her love was put to trial with false charges. Their love was the fate but, what the fate was no one knew!... |
