| Story | Mother's madness, an aged father is left lonely, and a sister out seeking justice. All three have lost an innocent son and brother. Inspector Arjun Singh (Vinod Khanna) is an honest and gusty cop, but hated by this family as they hold him responsible for their lost. He has lost his love (Anita Raaj) for her father didn't approve of his daughter marrying a murderer. Arjun spends his lonely nights drinking and with a call girl (Meenakshi), who happens to be the best friend of the sister that is determined to punish Inspector Arjun Singh for his crime. The sister (Madhavi) has spent her entire family funding into the cost of further pursuing her brother's murder case. Her lawyer (Anupam Kher), in exchange for lawyer fees, has asked her to give aid to a criminal (Shakti Kapoor) who has just broke from the jail.
