| Story | Sarju (Jeetendra) is a watchman whose wife Laxmi (Moushumi Chatterjee) and he go through untold sacrifices to put their only son Amar (Deepak Tijori) through college. Amar, who’s ashamed of his parents’ humble background, pretends to be the son of an aristocratic landowner. He meets a wealthy heiress Asha (Neelam) and they fall in love. Secrets come tumbling out when they get married and Sarju is outraged that his son would play such a dishonest game. Meanwhile, Asha is furious about this too, but realizes that her new in-laws are sincere and hardworking people. She invites them to stay in her mansion but her scheming father has an eye on the bit of property that Sarju owns…. |
