| Story | Priya (Preity Zinta) stays with her loving parents Gulshan and Rohini Bakshi (Anupam Kher and Farida Jalal) and her three brothers. She is the apple of their eye. A childhood friend Ajay (Chandrachur Singh) loves her but she has eyes only for Rahul (Saif Ali Khan), a rich spoilt brat. Priya's eldest brother Vicky (Mamik) detests her relationship with Rahul. Rahul ditches Priya when he discovers that she is pregnant. When her family confronts him, Rahul flatly refuses to marry her.
