| Story | Kabuliwalah is the simple but endearing story of a man who is known by the name of the beloved land, but povertu and a mountain of debts force him to leave, along with a little girl called Binnie. In Binnie, Kabuliwallah sees his beloved little daughter whom it broke his heart to leave behind. In Kabuliwallah, Binniw sees a simple godfearing fatherly figure. The bond between them grows, as does the Kabuliwallah's pile of hard-earned money. Soon he has nearly enough to pay off his debts and go home, but when he goes to ollect his last debt, the man refuses to pay and insults him. Blinded with rage, Kabuliwala stabs him. Refusing to tell the lie that could save him, Kabuliwal is sentenced to 10 years imprisonment. When he is released, he arrives at Binnie's house on her wedding day to find that she has grown up to be a beautiful young lady. Does Binnie remember her childhood friend? Does he go home to see his own little daughter as a beautiful bride? |
