| Story | Kishen (Rajendra Kumar), a gifted shehnai player and Gopi (Ameeta) are in love but both their families oppose the match. KishenÃ??s music teacher, Raghunath (Ulhas) has a daughter, Ramkali (Anita Guha) who also loves Kishen. Kishen achieves success and fame as a popular artist, with the help of a generous patron Shekar (Bhansali). In a strange twist of fate, Shekar marries Gopi. A devastated Kishen takes to drink and vows never to touch his shehnai againÃ??. This filmÃ??s highlight is the superb music composed by Vasant Desai and showcases the brilliant talent of shehnai maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan.
