| Story | Seth Kalidas is a multi millionaire obsessed with his wealth. Disgusted with him, his wife has left him to live with her parents and his daughter Roopa is confined to a hostel. Kalidas spends the winter in Bombay and the summer in Mussorie but unbeknownst to him, a homeless tramp named Chacha Udharchand crashes in whichever of Kalidas's luxurious houses is empty. Whilst in Bombay, Chacha came across Vijay and Raju, who have been evicted at the behest of Kalidas and he gives them shelter in Kalidas's palatial house. Meanwhile Roopa has tired of hostel life and comes to her father's house where she encounters Chacha and the others staying there. She learns of their plight and, hiding her real identity, joins them as one also in need of shelter. Intimacy develops into friendship and friendship into love, between Vijay and Roopa. When Kalidas comes to Bombay in search of Roopa he finds his house occupied by these intruders, who now include Raju's wife, child and charming sister Rita. How this chaos, confusion and drama turns into happiness and peace is dramatically in DIL DAULAT DUNIYA. |
