| Story | Chameli DVDA hard hitting film based on two strangers who meet on one rainy night. Based on one stormy night, Chameli revolves around two strangers who meet, while trying to run from the torrential monsoon rain in Mumbai. The smart Suave Rahul Bose Seeking shelter under one small roof, these two characters find nothing in common to talk about. He is an upper class banker, suave, smart and sophisticated. She is a prostitute, street smart but innocent. As these two characters stand together, watching the rain-drops, they are both hesitant to start a conversation. Soon the ice melts as the story progresses. Chameli is all about relationship that develops between two people played by Kareena Kapoor and Rahul Bose. The movie goes into a flashback which depicts the lives of both these characters. The late Anant Balani started the film which was taken over by director Sudhir Mishra to complete this project. Shot in a start to finish schedule, Chameli will have three songs composed by Sandesh Shandilya. |
