| Story | This is the age of the love story against a backdrop of conflict. Barsaat is the story of two men in a girl's (Twinkle Khanna) life. One loves her. The other wants to kill her. It is the story of a boy (Bobby deol) from the jungle who falls in love with a girl from the big, bad city. The girl is an heiress and her stepfather (Raj Babbar) is waiting for her to turn 18, so he can inherit her wealth. He tries to coax, cajole and coerce the boy out of her life. But to no avail. Finally, he takes the help of a corrupt inspector (Danny Danzongpa) to eliminate the boy. Will the inspector succeed? Will the father win? Or will love triumph over all else?,Barsaat is the sublime love story of three young people caught in a vortex of love they have no control over.
