| Story | Deepak (Rajesh Khanna), a sitar player, captures the heart of a talented dancer Jyoti (Rekha). He leaves her and goes to Bombay with the promise that he will return soon. He is unavoidably delayed. Jyoti goes to Bombay in search of Deepak and finds him married to another woman Asha (Reena Roy). Yet, Asha can never win her husband's heart.....
